Our general conditions of participation apply to public trainings (face-to-face and remote) as well as to the Agile World conference.
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.
The participation fees are due before the start of the training/conference and are to be transferred to the improuv GmbH account or paid via one of the payment methods offered (PayPal, credit card), quoting the invoice number.
In case of a face-to-face training, the price quoted includes participant documents, drinks and catering during the training.
The participation fees for Agile World must be paid in full, regardless of whether the participant attends the conference on one or two days.
Registration is preferably done via our website, alternatively by e-mail or post. You will receive confirmation of your registration by e-mail.
Without this confirmation of registration, there is no entitlement to participate in the event. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. The possible number of participants may be limited.
After your registration, you will receive your invoice. If you have already paid by Paypal or credit card when registering, the invoice is for your records. Otherwise, the invoice amount is due for payment at the time stated in the invoice.
For participation in the Agile World Conference, the registration is binding once payment has been received on time. You will receive your ticket after receipt of payment, without which you are not entitled to participate in Agile World.
For our trainings we use the tools Zoom and Miro.
For the Agile World we also use Hopin and SpatialChat.
Each participant is responsible for being able to use these tools. If it is not possible to use these tools, e.g. due to internal company requirements, this does not entitle you to cancel your participation free of charge.
Covid-19 and quarantine (applies only to face-to-face training):

Should you not be able to participate in the training you have booked due to one of the above-mentioned circumstances, please contact training@improuv.com.
We will then rebook you for a subsequent course without any problems.
If you wish to cancel your participation in one of our public training courses, you may do so free of charge up to 3 weeks before the start of the course. After this period, the participation fee must be paid in full, regardless of whether and for how long the participant takes part in the training. However, a substitute participant can be provided.
The following cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation of your participation in the Agile World Conference 2021:
In case of cancellation by the participant, the participation fee will be refunded in the following amount:
If the event has to be cancelled by the organiser due to a low amount of participants or due to illness of one or more speakers, any participation fees already paid will be refunded in full. There shall be no further claims.
We reserve the right to revise training and conference content and to change dates and venues or tools. There is no entitlement to a specific lecture, workshop or trainer/speaker. Registered trademarks. No guarantee is given that the products, processes and other names mentioned are free of third-party property rights.
The presentations at the Agile World conference will be recorded. It is possible that images, sound and video recordings and/or the names of the participants will be visible.
These images, sound and video recordings may be published without any restrictions in terms of time, space, subject matter or content.
I authorise improuv GmbH to use the recordings for all media (print and press products as well as internet, social media and film). This right may only be assigned to third parties with my prior consent.
improuv GmbH accepts this assignment and insofar ensures the necessary data protection. I waive payment of fees in any form and make no claims whatsoever. The names of those photographed may be used at the discretion of improuv GmbH.
improuv GmbH assures that the image and sound material will not be used for purposes of unauthorised or punishable acts or in a way that damages the reputation.
I have been explicitly instructed about the contents of § 22 of the Law on Copyright in Works of Fine Arts and Photography (KunstUrhG). § Section 22 Images may only be distributed or publicly displayed with the consent of the person depicted. In case of doubt, consent shall be deemed to have been given if the person depicted received remuneration for having his or her image reproduced. After the death of the person depicted, the consent of the relatives of the person depicted is required for a period of 10 years. Relatives within the meaning of this act are the surviving spouse or civil partner and the children of the person depicted and, if there is neither a spouse or civil partner nor children, the parents of the person depicted.

As the organiser of Agile World, improuv GmbH may make the following data visible to the other conference participants – exclusively during the conference – in order to ensure interactivity and exchange among the conference participants.
