You’ll learn how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, how to build an Agile Portfolio, and how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation at enterprise scale. In this two day course, you will learn the Lean-Agile principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe). You’ll learn how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, how to build an Agile Portfolio, and how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation at enterprise scale. You will gain an understanding of the Lean-Agile mindset and how to apply the principles and practices of SAFe to support Agile teams, programs, program portfolio management, and to coordinate large Value Streams.
Particpants can take the certification exam at the end of the course to become a SAFe Agilist (SA).
The training mixes presentation, with exercises, examples from actual SAFe implementations and discussion and knowledge sharing between the participants.

The SAFe Agilist certification program is for executives, managers and Agile change agents responsible for leading a Lean | Agile change initiative in a large software enterprise. This certification validates knowledge in applying the Scaled Agile Framework, lean, and product development flow principles in an enterprise context for leading the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework.
The exam takes the form of an open-book/open browser online examination. The exam itself if an important learning tool - participants are required to delve deeper into the course workbook and various online sites. Participants normally have a 10 day time-window within which to start and complete the examination. If successful, participants obtain certification as SAFe Agilist.

SAFe is an interactive library of proven success patterns, but it stands on the foundations of Core Values, Lean-Agile Mindeset, SAFe Principles, and Lean-Agile Leadership, as well as proven implementation patterns.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)
Attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP and PMI-ACP certifications.
Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.
