Leadership in agile organizations is a two-day intensive course that covers the latest leadership concepts for agile organizations and contrasts the traditional manager role with the needs of a high-performance agile organization.
After this course you will understand what leadership means in an agile organization, what role you play as an agile leader in agile transformation and how you can optimally support teams to develop the potential of their employees.
The course introduces the agile principles from a management perspective. It shows which role model, which values, principles and practices are suitable as prerequisites for this and guarantee the success of agile procedures in companies.
What are the main contents of the course? You will get to know the context as well as the technology and business drivers for agility and get an overview of the role models and behavior patterns for an agile leader. You will learn how to set up the planning for an agile approach, how to define success criteria for the evaluation and how to strengthen the motivation and personal responsibility of your employees. You will receive information on how to set up agility correctly in your company both structurally and culturally and how to anchor it through agile evolution. In addition, you will get an overview of the different agile methods and understand in which context which method is most effective.

The role of the Agile Leader:
The Agile Leader acts as a catalyst for excellence and innovation in the organization. He implements agile change projects and drives successful organizational changes. He motivates and develops his employees by communicating and interacting as a coach at eye level.
How can you prepare? No special previous knowledge is required for this course. However, we recommend reading our white paper on agile leadership as preparation. As the course is interactive and aims to encourage discussion and exchange, it is advantageous if participants are already familiar with different leadership concepts and ideas and are familiar with organizational and change models.
Format: Interactive workshop with presentations, exercises and exchange of experiences.

The course is accepted by the Scrum Alliance to qualify for Certified Agile Leader (CAL 1). The prerequisite for certification as a CAL is attendance at a CAL course lasting at least two days, conducted by a certified CAL Instructor. After attending the course, the trainer registers the participants with the Scrum Alliance.
